Bridges School

Bridges School

"All three of my children have attended Bridges. When I moved to the area, everyone I knew recommended Bridges and I was thrilled when we got in. My favorite things about the school have been the creative, caring and nurturing environment that I think is so important in the early years. I also completely trust the school with my children. Connie and her staff are so thoughtful about the children's day to day needs, experiences and interactions. As a result, my children have been truly happy at Bridges, they have made wonderful friendships and have always looked forward to going to school."

For the very young child an early childhood program is a bridge from home to the outside world. It tells her that this world is safe and kind and that through exploration, she will find it to be an exciting, marvelous place. The first relationships that are nurtured and developed in the classroom are crucial for children and their teachers. Rich and satisfying relationships are a beginning of a passage to independence and wonder. They help our children to cross the first bridge from home to school and to build many more. Thank you for your interest in Bridges School. I look forward to talking with you and your child.

* We currently have openings in our Two & Three Year Old Morning Programs for Fall of 2017.

Every year a waiting list is established for all programs for the following school year. On September 1 (regardless of calendar day) parents call Bridges (203-637-0204) starting at 8 A.M. All applicants who call are put on the waiting list in the order the calls are received. They are invited to attend a general information meeting in November. Appointments may be made at that time to visit the classroom. Any questions?
