Bridges School

Bridges School

"All three of my children have attended Bridges. When I moved to the area, everyone I knew recommended Bridges and I was thrilled when we got in. My favorite things about the school have been the creative, caring and nurturing environment that I think is so important in the early years. I also completely trust the school with my children. Connie and her staff are so thoughtful about the children's day to day needs, experiences and interactions. As a result, my children have been truly happy at Bridges, they have made wonderful friendships and have always looked forward to going to school."

At this point in in your parenting journey, you may be asking, what do I want for my child as she begins to establish first relationships outside of your home. Here at Bridges we work in a collaborative way. Parents and teachers work together to create an attentive environment that is responsive to the needs of young learners and their families.

Loris Malaguzzi, founder of the Reggio Emilia Program, describes a family entering the school environment for the first time. "When you enter the school in the morning, you carry with you pieces of your life – your happiness, your sadness, your hopes, your pleasures, the stresses from your life."

Bridges sees this first relationship, this beginning with your family, as a passage to independence and wonder for all of us. We will help you and your children to cross the first bridge from home to school and to build so many more.

Bridges has provided a valuable education to our community for over 30 years. We hope you will join us. Thank you for your interest in Bridges, please review our website, and plan to attend one of our information meetings. We look forward to meeting you and your family.
